About

I am Claire McPeak, an artist and emerging architect based in Chicago. As a Master of Architecture student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I navigate the spaces where art and architecture converge.

Working primarily in oil, my abstract pieces investigate how space and color influence the human experience, while my impressionist works reflect the quiet nostalgia of everyday life.

Alongside painting and design, I write to process and reflect on experience. Though distinct in form, these practices capture and preserve human experience. The intersection between these disciplines can craft more thoughtful, resonant environments — physically and emotionally.
